1. Who We Are

LodsBoard (lods.ai) is a Filipino creator discovery and support platform. We help fans find and vote for aspiring Filipino content creators ("lods").

2. Information We Collect

Account information: username, email address, display name, and password (stored as a salted hash - never in plain text).
Profile data: optional fields such as city, bio, Facebook URL, and profile photo (stored as a compressed image).
Usage data: votes cast, candy balance, leaderboard activity, and session tokens.
Messenger conversations: if you message the LodsBoard Facebook Page, your message text and Facebook sender ID (PSID) are processed to generate a reply. Conversation history is held in memory only and is not written to permanent storage.

3. How We Use Your Information

To operate the platform: authenticate your account, record votes, and display leaderboards.
To respond to Messenger messages via Lods Bot (powered by OpenAI).
To send transactional emails (password reset, claim approval notifications).
To improve the platform based on aggregate, anonymised usage patterns.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

Fly.io - hosting and infrastructure (Philippines/US data centres).
OpenAI - Messenger message text is sent to OpenAI's API to generate bot replies. OpenAI's data policy applies: openai.com/policies/privacy-policy.
Resend - transactional email delivery.
Meta / Facebook - only the data you provide through the Facebook platform per Meta's own policies.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7). Messenger conversation history is in-memory only and is cleared on server restart.

6. Cookies & Sessions

We use a single HTTP-only session cookie to keep you logged in. No third-party tracking cookies are used.

7. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. See our Data Deletion Instructions page or email us at hello@lods.ai.

8. Security

Passwords are hashed with a unique salt. Sessions use cryptographically random tokens. All traffic is served over HTTPS.

9. Children's Privacy

LodsBoard is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
